Pain ultimately produces something but not all pains produce harmful results. Some pains birth anger or bitterness but some pains also birth purpose. The pain of childbirth is one of such. The cry of a new born wipes away the pains of childbirth, even when the mother is still healing from bruises. Good things don’t come easy. The greatest achievement has a story, beneath it is a pain tied with purpose.
Let's not even talk about the invention of aeroplane, the first time I drove a car with an automatic transmission, I imagined what manual car drivers have to suffer. Then I remembered how our forebears walked several miles on bare legs to commute from one place to the other. That is what civilisation does.
The society has predetermined standards for assessing people even without regard to individual differences or prevailing circumstances. If someone tells you a person is nice, please be generous with praises for the person. It sounds easy but it is not easy to be nice. You can reserve further questions till later but ask questions as to the qualities deserving the compliments so you can also learn.
