My friend asked me when is the best time to make critical decisions. I’m not sure I have the accurate answer but I know that the best time to make a life impacting decision is not when you are very happy, neither is it when you are very sad. Read that again.
Quite often, we talk about life of purpose. A life of purpose is a life of impact. No one ever promised that the journey of life would be smooth and rosy. If you have your life, you have it all in your hands.
If you are a student of government or political science, it is almost impossible that you have not come across this quote by Lord Acton way back in 1887 when he said “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. Even if you are not cut out for politics, you cannot shut your ears to politics because politics controls everything.
