OPERATE FROM YOUR IMAGINATION, NOT YOUR MEMORY

Memory is in two parts. There are good memories and there are bad memories but all memories relate to the past. Good memories can inspire you but you can also be restricted by your past if you operate predominantly from your memories, even if they are good memories, let alone bad memories.

Imagination connects you to a future of limitless possibilities. Good or bad, memory connects you to a past which cannot be relived. Little wonder why a record holder loses his title the moment another person beats his record. Don’t get too immersed in your past accomplishments to underutilise the opportunities of the present.

It is no coincidence that a clock ticks forward, signifying that life is futuristic. I am yet to see a clock that ticks backwards. The worst that can happen to a clock is to stop ticking for a moment, symbolising a period of repositioning to keep moving again.

Invention was first a product of imagination before it becomes a conception. A conception translates to a dream that is broken down to specific goals before its actualisation to become an invention. Don’t overthink what adds value to humanity, just do it. Awards are given to invention and not intention.

Yuletide is here. The atmosphere is hazy already, the feeling is different, activities are peaking, the year is gradually rolling out. It’s a good time to take stock. The past is gone. Let the good memories of 2025 inspire you but operate more from the realm of imagination in the coming years. Create and recreate.

It reminds me that November 28 usually heralds the Yuletide season. It was on that day I was born. As I reflect on my journey, I want to take a moment to say thank you for being an incredible source of inspiration to me. Your kind words on my birthday is spirit lifting. I cannot thank you enough.

As I begin to imagine better ways to add value to humanity in this boundless world, let me be one of the first few to usher you into Yuletide as I say compliments of the season.

Christmas is coming 🌲
