My childhood upbringing taught me that I can be more without making others feel less. Of what use is my happiness if it makes others sad?
Adolescence taught me that what I have has no value if it does not add value to others. A lamp glows best when it’s on the lamp stand.
Adulthood is teaching me that I can achieve more with less controversy if I speak less, listen more and acquire wisdom. I’m still learning.
It’s November 28. I was born on this day. I am thankful to the Giver of life.
